Bolo de Laranja
Ingredientes:
1 laranja grande
3 ovos
1+1/3 chávena de açúcar amarelo
1 chávena de óleo (usei de girassol)
2 chávenas de farinha Branca de neve
2 colher de (chá) de fermento
1 colher de (chá) de extrato de baunilha
Cobertura:
3 laranjas
1/2 chávena de açúcar amarelo
Preparação:
Laranja Caramelizada
Corte em rodelas finas as laranjas destinadas à cobertura do bolo e procure aproveitar o sumo que escorre. (Estas laranjas não tinham sementes, se tiver tire-as).
Numa forma circular, de fundo fixo, leve ao lume o açúcar amarelo e um pouco de sumo de laranja até este derreter e começar a ferver.
Disponha as rodelas de laranja, forrando toda a forma. Leve de novo ao lume, deixe que evapore o sumo que as laranjas vão libertar, deve reduzir e ficar um xarope espesso. Reserve.
Massa do bolo
Corte a laranja em pedaços, aproveitando também a casca.
Coloque no liquidificador a laranja partida, os ovos, o óleo e o açúcar. Triturar tudo muito bem bem.
Verta a massa para um recipiente e envolva a farinha e o fermento, sem bater.
Leve ao forno, pré-aquecido a 180º C, durante 35 minutos ou faça o teste do palito. Desenforme ainda quente e na hora de servir decore a gosto.

Tentação de laranja - Orange temptation
Cá em casa não faltam laranjas nesta altura do ano, como todos os dias 1 a 2 e faco sumo delas. E para que não se estraguem fiz também este bolo com muita vitamina c.

Ingredientes para o bolo:
4 ovos
2 chávenas de farinha com fermento
1 1/5 chávena de açúcar, (usei açúcar amarelo)
Sumo de 6 laranjas
Calda de natas:
200 ml pacote de natas
1 laranja
Ingredientes para o creme de laranja:
Sumo de 6 laranjas
6 gemas
2 c. sopa de farinha maizena
50 g de açúcar
Merengue:
6 claras
100 g de açúcar em pó
Ingredients for the cake:
4 eggs
2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/5 cup of sugar (sugar used yellow)
Juice of 6 oranges
cream sauce:
200 ml package of cream
1 orange
Ingredients for orange cream:
Juice of 6 oranges
6 egg yolks
2c. flour
50g sugar
Meringue:
6 egg whites
100 g of powdered sugar
1 Massa do bolo:
Ligue o forno a 180º. Unte uma forma redonda com manteiga e polvilhe com farinha. Separe as gemas das claras, deite as gemas para uma tigela e bata muito bem as gemas com o açúcar até ficar um creme esbranquiçado. Junte o sumo das laranjas, a farinha peneirada e envolva tudo muito bem. Por ultimo, bata as claras em castelo e junte ao preparado, delicadamente. Verta a massa na forma e leve ao forno por 25 min, ou fazer o teste do palito.
2 creme de laranja:
Bata muito bem as gemas com o açúcar até ficar um creme esbranquiçado. Acrescente as 2 colheres de farinha, mexa e junte o sumo das laranjas aos poucos, mexendo sempre. Deite a mistura para um tacho e leve ao lume, mexendo sempre, até ferver e engrossar. Retire do lume e deixe arrefecer.
3 calda:
Ferva as natas com o sumo de uma laranja e retire do lume.
4 montagem do bolo:
Depois do bolo pronto, desenforme e coloque-o num prato que possa ir ao forno. Com palito de espetadas, fazer furos pelo bolo todo e regue-o com as natas de laranja. Depois espalhe o creme de laranja por cima e deixe arrefecer.
Bata muito bem as gemas com o açúcar até ficar um creme esbranquiçado. Acrescente as 2 colheres de farinha, mexa e junte o sumo das laranjas aos poucos, mexendo sempre. Deite a mistura para um tacho e leve ao lume, mexendo sempre, até ferver e engrossar. Retire do lume e deixe arrefecer.

4 montagem do bolo:
Depois do bolo pronto, desenforme e coloque-o num prato que possa ir ao forno. Com palito de espetadas, fazer furos pelo bolo todo e regue-o com as natas de laranja. Depois espalhe o creme de laranja por cima e deixe arrefecer.
5 merengue:
Ligue o forno a 180º. Bata as claras em castelo e junte o açúcar os poucos, batendo sempre até as claras ficarem bem duras e brilhantes. Pegue no bolo e ponha em cima do creme montinhos de claras, leve ao forno até ficarem douradinhas. Retire, decore com a casca de laranja e sirva decorado a gosto.

Nota: Se preferir, pode substituir o creme de laranja por um leite creme aromatizado com casca de laranja. As natas por cima do bolo é opcional.

Finally, beat the egg whites and add to the mixture gently. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 25 min, or do the toothpick test.
2 orange cream:
Beat well the egg yolks with the sugar until a whitish cream. Add 2 tablespoons of flour, stir and add the juice of oranges gradually, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring constantly, until boiling and thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
3 syrup:
Boil the cream with the juice of an orange and remove from the heat.
4 assembling the cake:
After the cake ready, unmold and place it in a dish that can go in the oven. With satay stick, make holes all over the cake and sprinkle it with the orange cream. Then spread the orange cream on top and let cool.
5 merengue:
Turn the oven to 180 degrees. Beat the egg whites and add the sugar the few, always beating until the egg whites become very hard and shiny. Take the cake and put on top of piles of light cream, bake until douradinhas. Remove, garnish with orange peel and serve decorated to taste.
Taste and see how even a temptation.
(Also sprinkled with cinnamon is a delight).
Note: If you prefer, you can replace the orange cream for a flavored custard with orange peel. The cream over the cake is optional.

Mousse de laranja
Ingredientes para 10 tacinhas
Sumo de 3 laranjas
175g de açúcar
400 ml de iogurte grego natural, (pode usar natas se preferir)
4 ovos
1 colher de (sopa) de manteiga ou margarina, (opcional)
3 folhas de gelatina
1 carteirinha de 90g de açúcar baunilhado vahine
Preparação:
Demolhe as folhas de gelatina em água fria por uns minutos.
Num tacho, leve ao lume o sumo das laranjas com as raspas, o açúcar e as gemas.
Mexa com uma vara de arames e deixe aquecer sem deixar ferver.
Quando o preparado estiver quente, adicione as folhas de gelatina escorridas e a manteiga, mexa muito bem.
Depois de tudo dissolvido, retire e deixe arrefecer.
Entretanto bata as claras com o açúcar baunilhado até que fiquem firmes.
Numa taça grande, verta o preparado de laranja e vá juntado alternadamente, as claras e o iogurte, mexendo delicadamente entre cada adicção com uma colher de pau.
Divida a mousse por taças individuais ou frasquinhos.
Coloque a mousse no frigorífico até que fique bem fresca e solidificada.
Na hora de servir decore com mais raspas de laranja.

Semi-frio de laranja com bolacha
Se é verdade que não podemos aventurar-nos nas sobremesas sem restrição, também é verdade que algumas delas, desde que consumidas em moderação, podem até ser consideradas uma sobremesa saudável.
Esta sobremesa é uma delas, semi-frio de laranja com bolacha, que tem ingredientes nutritivos e muita vitamina C.
Ingredientes:
- 6 claras
- 6 folhas de gelatina incolor
- 400 ml de sumo de laranjas,(cerca de1 kg de laranjas)
- 200 ml de natas vegetais
- 2 iogurtes gregos
- 100 gr de bolacha tipo Maria.
Preparação:
Coloque as folhas de gelatina em água e reserve.
Esprema-a o sumo das laranjas, deite metade num tacho e leve ao lume. Quando ferver, adicione as folhas gelatina escorridas e mexa muito bem.
Depois da gelatina estar completamente dissolvida, adicione-lhe o restante sumo de laranja e mexa novamente,deixe arrefecer.
Numa tigela bata muito bem as claras até ficarem espessas e reserve.
Bata bem as natas ate que fiquem cremosas e adicione-lhes os dois iogurtes, bata mais um pouco
Parta as bolachas aos pedaços e adicione-as ao preparado de nata com iogurte.
Aos poucos, vá adicionando as claras e a gelatina de laranja que ja deve ter arrefecido. Entre as adições, envolva com muito cuidado.
Ponha um aro num prato de servir e deite dentro o preparado.
Leve depois ao frigorífico para solidificar, preferencialmente de um dia para o outro.
Decore com bolachas raladas e rodelas de laranja.
